Why are you changing your name from the Cape Cod Arts Network to the Global Pledge Network ?
Starting 2004, the Cape Cod Arts Network will be opening up web sites around the world. To reflect the global nature of our endeavor, and to live the philosophy of the Global Pledge we feel that this new name best reflect our mission - to make this a better, healthier and safer world for all.
Do you offer free listings on your web site ?
Yes, our web sites are consumer focused; therefore, we want to list all businesses, services, and products that we feel are useful to our visitor, and that enhance the community and the lives of our visitors. If we currently have a web site that is related to your business; we will be happy to give you a free text listing on the appropriate site in the appropriate categories. (Although, we do reserve the right to not list sites or businesses we feel are inappropriate and do not support the principles of the Global Pledge.) A free text listing consists of listing the name of your business, your phone number, your address, and a link to your web site, if you have one.
Are your web sites "Non-Profit" or "Not for Profit" sites ?
No, for the most part, all of our site are "For Profit Sites"; with the hopes of bringing in enough income from our retail sites to support their operation - and the hosting and operation of our many public service sites.
Can I advertise on you sites ?
Yes, please do, we feel we offer some of the best advertising buys on the Internet. For as little as $50 a year you can have a Full Color 175 * 225 pixel ad - for one year on a directory page of one of our web sites. A similar size color ad in your local newspaper or magazine could cost you 5 or 10 times that amount - for just one day! We also offer premium advertising on the Home Pages of our sites for as little as $500 a year.
My business doesn't have a web site, can you build me one ?
Although, we will build you a single page web site, or put your menu online for as little as $100 - we recommend that you use a local web designer, or build the site yourself - for a multiple page sites - or sites with a lot of information - or information that changes often. If you can't find a web designer, contact us and we will give you some possible suggestions; or if you want to try it on your own - we suggest you look into Homestead.
Do you offer some free ads ?
Yes, we do offer some free advertising. If you have a non-profit that is helping the community in the area that our web site covers, or you have a very special and worthwhile cause - we will be happy to talk to you about some free advertising or advertising exchange. Please contact us.
Yes, if you have a theater, dance program or other type of production that has a program or a flyer we will be happy to talk to you about advertising exchange.
